We welcome you to the Young Enterprise program. This beneficial program for students was first introduced in Malaysian secondary schools in 1989 by the American-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). This program is sponsored by Citigroup, the Malaysian-American Electronics Industries (MAEI) - a committee of AMCHAM and many other generous sponsors. The Young Enterprise company of SMK USJ 13, ELLTA Enterprise is sponsored by Freescale Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
The main objective of this program is for participants to be exposed to the process of managing a company. Participants, also known as achievers, will learn basic business skills, right from the registration and forming the company until the liquidation of the company. This program, which is only open for the Form 4 students, offers an opportunity to be prematurely involved in the business field.
Young Enterprise program brings awareness to its participants that managing a company is actually more than just a money making process. This program also helps participants to discover their business abilities, develop leadership qualities and instill co-operation and teamwork. The participants will learn that many factors have to be taken into consideration for a company to be a success. Few of the factors that are required for the success of the company are the need for a solid foundation, a good management structure, precision planning, a challenging vision and satisfying the customers’ needs.
At this point of time, where Malaysia and the world are going through an economical crisis, this program will definitely be beneficial in developing better business skills for the future generation. This program is one of the ways to fulfill Vision 2020.

Making Routes to Achievements
ELLTA Enterprise was formed on the 12th February 2009. This is the 5th company in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan USJ 13, ever since this program was first introduced in the year 2005. Our company is being run by 19 achievers who are filled with hope and passion for a successful company. Our company was officially registered on the 25th of February 2009.
We, the achievers, came up with ‘ELLTA’ as our company name because its stands for our company motto “Excellent Leadership Leads To Achievements”. This motto expresses our capabilities of leading and helping one another to move towards achievements and success. Besides, we assume ourselves as the key to success and the effort and hard work that we put in is the main principle that we follow in order to become a successful company.
Our logo, which covers many important criteria of a solid base of a company, portrays a wide image on how we work as a company. The picture of an eagle signifies that we have a sharp vision in the business field whereas the boat shows that we stick together as a team to face obstacles and challenges that will come along the way.
Each of us achievers has our own capability and skills that we will contribute to bring us forward to achievements as what our motto says.
